Hi! My name is Maleah, and I graduated from the University of California in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. I was a student-athlete at Cal for two years before retiring due to injury. My time as a student-athlete introduced me to the many moving parts of the sports business, including social media, video production, and graphic design. I began working in video production for Cal Athletics at the beginning of my junior year where I became proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Through a combination of luck and hard work, I also got the opportunity to manage all of Cal Women's Gymnastics social media accounts during my senior year, and increased Twitter and Instagram following by about 15%, IG post interactions by 800%, and Twitter impressions by 2000%.

After graduation, I accepted a position with the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans as a social media associate. Working in the NFL and NBA, I am being challenged and continue to learn new things about the sports industry and content creation. I enjoy social media and content creation because similar to sports, there is always room to improve. I love having the ability to challenge myself while giving fans a new perspective of their favorite athletes through different features, behind the scenes content, and more.
